Heroes Season Three May 31, 2010 Ramon J. Obrador Excellent condition, excellent price, excellent delivery, excellent quality. Will defenitely buy from this seller again!
Amazing. <3 May 7, 2010 Madeline R. Des Jardins I love Heroes- and this season did not disapoint. It's a bit convuluted at times, and the beginning is a little weird, but it gets really great by the end. I love the characters, the plotlines, the story- it's fantastic.
I'd definitely suggest you watch it if you're a fan of the series. And it's great to own.
The special features aren't that amazing, but they're pretty good. The deleted scenes can be interesting, since sometimes they explain things that they leave out of the show. So that's cool.
Amazon.com is great.
BUY THIS. <3 :)
Season 3 Heroes - some spoilerish remarks/observations April 14, 2010 L. A. Quintilian 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Other people have said it here, but I will repeat it. Season 3 is OUTSTANDING. Critical character developments in season 4 are foreshadowed in season 3. I just hope they take this to the limit in season 5.
What is a hero? What does it take to become one? Are you just made, or do you have to work for it? Is the triumph of the soul measured by the perfect being, who was born generally good with a fairly good life? Or is the triumph of the spirit best measured by it's difficulty in achievement, and through the change from the grossly imperfect into the more truly perfect; is it best told through the eyes of one who will know the difference, because he has had to pay the greater price to become a hero by overcoming the greatest challenge of all - himself.
Questions about what a hero is, are the crux of this show; and it's slow development into a classical consideration of the definition of hero and it's use of archetypal figures to tell the story will make this show unforgettable over time. Heroes has ended up becoming a story for the ages.
I disagree with the highlighted reviewer in his interpretation of what a Hero is. Thankfully the writers agree with me, and not with him. A hero as classically defined is not flawless. The hero struggles with inner demons. The hero does not always win. And sometimes, you have to fight to become one.
A great show-runner will develop a show for the talent they have, not for the talent they wish they had. This is why season 3 succeeds so brilliantly and comes to a climax at the end. It is very very good.
I came to the show late. I watched it from start to finish this winter (2010), including downloading season 4 from another online pay service. I agree season 1 is good. But it doesn't hold a candle to season 3 which has you clapping at times, laughing at others, and wanting to cry for the tragedy of the hero who hasn't made it. It can break your heart. It's riveting.
Two thumbs up to the producers of Heroes. Bring on season 5. I love the show so much, I am going to purchase season 4 on DVD so i can have it in a format that isn't digital, and could therefore be lost to a hard drive failure.
Must see Heroes - Simply great! April 14, 2010 Samantha Mclean (Bergerac, France) All the episodes were great!! coudn't stop watching it! A must see and can't wait for season 4
